JUNE IS PRIDE, AND PRIDE IS COMMUNITY
CRC Training & Development are hosting a PRIDE Day on 28th June from 10:30am to 3pm.
The Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Festival is an annual series of events which celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) life in Dublin, Ireland.
The theme for Dublin Pride 2021 is Community, with a focus on promoting the vital work of LGBTQ+ organisations & services. For our Pride Event in CRC Training & Development, we have invited speakers from some of these organisations to join us online and promote their services.

The Plan for the Day
You will see from the schedule below that we’ve an exciting and jam-packed day planned for our Pride Event.
We have a fantastic line-up of amazing guest speakers from various LGBT+ organisations who will discuss the work that they do in promoting diversity and inclusion in society and championing equality for all people.
Start the day
Creative Art Activity with Dublin Artist, Lisa Keegan
Guest speaker: Derek Byrne, Journalist, Writer, Academic, Activist since the 1980s
LGBT+ Federation – Migrant LGBT+ experiences in Ireland
LINC – the work they do and the organisation
SpunOut.ie – the issues facing LGBT+ youth today
Sporting Pride – Inclusion in Sport
Break for lunch and fresh air
Guest Speaker: Dermot McCarthy, Director of Under the Rainbow, on the topic of Mental Health
Guest Speakers: Harry Bird and his partner Gary from CRC
2:50pm – 3:00pm
Close the day with a meditation with Eoin Fallon
