About this Online Erasmus+ Project
There’s certainly a few essential life skills that schools don’t cover, that would’ve been helpful to learn as a teenager rather than suddenly being plunged into the adult world and figuring it all out alone.
For this Erasmus+ event, we want to hear your views on this and to draw up a list of topics that should have been taught at school with a focus on disability. With your support and input, we hope to develop some resources like a handbook to may assist others in the future.
There was a lot of things that were not covered in school like mental health, disability, well-being and financial advise. These are some of the things that we could have all benefitted from learning about in our school years.

Wear Purple on the 3rd December
We are asking as many Erasmus+ participants as possible to wear something purple on the 3rd December.
We hope to raise awareness of International Day for Persons with a Disability.  This year’s theme is “Not all Disabilities are Visible.
Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions and answers.
In the past, all of our previous Erasmus+ events were held in different locations around Dublin. In line with recent HSE & Government guidelines, we have decided to move our next event online.
We are all very excited about this online event and rest assure it will be the best one yet!
Yes of course you can join from home. You will need a device like a computer, iPad or tablet with internet access.
Whilst you can join by a mobile phone, it isn’t really recommended due to the small screen size.
Everybody is welcome to join this event so it doesn’t matter if you haven’t been to an Erasmus Event before in the past.
New Erasmus participants are most welcome.
That’s Ok. We understand that not everyone has access to a device with internet access.

So please do talk to your key-worker for support with this.
Your key worker can support you and show you the steps to use Zoom.
So make sure that you request assistance with this prior to our Online event.
