About this Event
The promotion of equality has clearly grown since it became our core theme in our first Erasmus+ project: ‘Making Equality Our Policy’.

Equality is about making sure that everyone has a chance to take part in society on an equal basis and be treated the same.

For this conference, we want to look at how we can further promote equality and accommodate diversity in the Training & Development.

We will see how the CRC prevents and combats discrimination and how it’s Equality Statement respects, values and accommodates diversity.

Morning Session:
10:45am- 12:00pm
The CRC Equality Committee was formed back in 2019 and they will present this morning’s session. They will share what their goals are and how you can play a part and help make equality the policy in the CRC.

We have taken your feedback that we received after the last Erasmus+ Event and have packed more fun activities into the morning session.

Running order for morning session:
11:00am – Introduction by Audrey Quearney
11:10am – Meet the CRC Equality Committee Members
11:20am – Menti Presentation on Equality by Megan Kelly & Mary Carlyon
11:40am – Talk to a CRC Equality Committee Member: Zoom Breakout Rooms
11:50am – CRC Equality Policy Update by Elizabeth Plunkett
12:00pm – Lunch break
Menti Presentation Findings

The voting results from the morning Menti Presentation will be shared here and will available for everyone to see immediately after this Equality Conference.

Afternoon Session
1:15pm - 2:15pm
Join us for the afternoon session as we put what we have learned earlier into practise. So get your thinking-hats on as Maria-Elena asks the question what equality means to us as individuals and in society.
Before closing this Equality Conference, we will invite all Erasmus+ participants to join us in 15 minutes of Mindfulness Exercises with Eoin Fallon. It’s certainly a fantastic way to finish off this Equality Conference.
